E3D Chimera Mount Ender 3

EDIT 1/27/20: I've also added a variant of the right arm that puts the BLTouch a little closer to the nozzle and tidies everything up a bit. I also actually checked the part cooling fan air flow and it was terrible, so I've just uploaded the .stl of the original from Creality. It's not directed, but it has way better flow so it should work better. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ EDIT 1/24/20: All right. I've beefed everything way up. This thing is STURDY. I ended up printing in PLA because the PETG was too flexible. I also thickened the L-shaped bracket and added an angle to make it sturdier. Once you get it tight, it doesn't move at all. Now, if anyone figures out good cooling for this hot end, please let me know. I'm still having a bit of trouble with that. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- EDIT 1/14/20: New design is up. Everything but the HE fan mount and the little blower fan bottom things are changed. It's much more sturdy. I printed in PETG and it works great. You'll need some M4 nuts to mount the mount to the backplate. I'm not a huge fan of threading into plastic :) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ EDIT 1/10/20: I have decided to basically rework the entire thing because it's still a little flimsy. I really didn't want to, but here we are. I'm currently printing the next attempt out of PETG and I'll post the design files when it's confirmed to work. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Updated Chimera mount for Ender 3. Everything fits together a bit better. I didn't put a whole lot of time into this, so I included the .step for the 4 pieces that I changed. Please improve on my design!
