E3D Hemera mount for LulzBot Taz 6

<p>This is a one-piece mount for using the E3D Hemera/Hermes on the LulzBot Taz 6. Its dimensions are based on the <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4008893">official E3D mount</a>. You don't need the separate Taz 6 Universal Mount if you're using this mount. I also modified the blower fan mount so it could attach using socket-cap screws.</p> <h3>Printing</h3> <p>You will need to print the mount with ABS, PETG, or another high-temp material. Don't use PLA!</p> <p>For best printing, use the included support and perimeter modifier files. If you're using PrusaSlicer:</p> <ol> <li>For your general print settings, select 0.25mm layer height, 3 perimeters, and 30% infill.</li> <li>Load the "Taz Hemera mount" part.</li> <li>Right-click the print settings, select Add Part &gt; Load, select "Taz Hemera mount - support" part.</li> <li>Right click print settings again, select Add Modifier &gt; Load, select "Taz Hemera mount - perim modifier" part. Right click the modifier's settings, select Add Settings &gt; Layers and Perimeters, select Perimeters. Change this to 4.</li> </ol> <p>If your slicer does not support modifiers, then increase the overall perimeters to 4 and infill to 50% or more.</p> <p>The included support should work in all slicers. It is designed with a 0.25mm gap between the support and part.</p> <h3>Post-Print Cleanup</h3> <p>Use a 3.5mm drill bit (or similar) to clean the holes in the mount.</p> <h3>Required Parts</h3> <ul> <li>M3x8 or M3x10 socket cap screws (qty 4) to attach the Hemera to the mount.</li> <li>M3x8 socket cap screws (qty 4) to attach the fan mount to the Hemera.</li> <li>M3x20 socket-cap screws for attaching the blower to the fan mount. Ideally use M3 heat-set inserts on the fan mount, however you may be able to get away without them.</li> <li>Cable harness (see E3D documentation).</li> </ul> <h3>Assembly</h3> <p>Follow the <a href="https://e3d-online.dozuki.com/Guide/LulzBot+Taz6+Hemera+Upgrade/123">E3D Guide for the Taz 6</a>.
