E3d hotend adapter for Craftbot
cults3d
These are some parts that can be printed to adapt a Craftbot for an E3D hotend. The design has undergone numerous iterations to reach its current state. I have not yet thoroughly tested the design, but so far it appears promising, which is why I've labeled it as a work in progress. The three printable components are: A positioning bracket that secures the hotend and moves it away from the carriage. A flexible filament guide, loosely based on Scott Booker's original design. This allows for the use of flexible filaments while also holding the PTFE tube in place within the heatsink. This version features a hole at the top for the tube and is sized to accommodate the filament the rest of the way.
