A revised head for an Ultimaker2 with an E3D Volcano hotend Print Settings Printer Brand: Ultimaker Printer: Ultimaker 2 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Infill: 100% How I Designed This These parts are reverse engineered from various sources on the net. Sources: Head: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:992952 Fans: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:794361 SolidEdge drawing files are available by request should you desire to alter the parts. These parts were printed on a DImension SST1200ES printer using ABS and support material, although they could be printed on any printer. The mount has two holes in the slot that holds the y-axis bearing to permit M3 nuts to be pressed into the mount before the bearings are pushed in, two M3 machine screws are used to tighten the clamp. The 30mm fan mount has the option of using a 40mm long M3 screw and nut to clamp it tightly onto the heat.sink. I was fed up with the lugs breaking when tightening up a cable tie. I suggest mounting the rear fan before mounting onto the heat sink in case the mount breaks.
