E3D Titan Flying Mount for SeeMeCNC Rostock Max

EDIT: I'm leaving this up because I know people do use it. However, I no longer do. I found that having a flying extruder added tilt to my effector, and the tradeoff was not worth it. I'm not a designer, but it's functional. This is my take on a "flying" mount for the E3D Titan, so you can suspend it over your hotend and shorten your Bowden tube significantly. Inspired by the original design of the Airstruder here: http://repables.com/r/531/ This is a 100% new design. The goal was to center the bowden tube when it's "at rest" over the top of the hotend. You'll require some Bungee Cords, I used some 10" cords with hooks from Lowes, and shortened them by bending them over on themselves and using a zip tie to hold them. I used a 7" Bowden tube, which allowed for plenty to run down into the E3D v6 hot end, and also up into the Titan. The length of tube between the hotend and extruder is approximately 4". The adjustment for tension is still accesible. Fitting the titan in is tight, but not impossible, and there is ample clearance for the protruding gear. The Original file is the one pictured on my printer. The v1.1 has a slightly widened opening for the tension adjustment, and I closed off the hole near the offset bungee mounting point (it was originally intended for the motor wiring, but wasn't ideal for that, and caused a slight loss in rigidity) Note: The titan fits in very snugly. This was an intentional choice in the design, but it means you may have to bend the mounting plate up slightly to fit the Cover of the titan on. I can loosen that opening up if people desire.
