E3d V6 Bowden Carriage with LJ18A3-8-ZBX Sensor

thingiverse

Another carriage for Vulcanus Max (or other similar machines - lm10uu's distance 50mm center to center). I designed this type of carriage because I use an Inductive Proximity Sensor LJ18A3-8-ZBX, which triggers 8mm from metal and is part of a bowden setup. My goal was to get the proximity sensor as close as possible to the hotend without hanging outside the carriage (30mm in the X plane). Assembly requires 4 zipties, 5xM3 screws at the top, 2xM3 screws for the e3d custom mount and 4xM3 for the belt tension parts. Each belt of the CoreXY cinematics can be tightened individually. Solidworks and Stl files are available if you need them. If you have any recommendations, leave a comment so we can improve it. Version 1.2 is now uploaded with some issues fixed after printing the parts myself. Download and use the files in the .rar archive. Last update was on September 17, 2016 at 21:30. Here are my print settings for this carriage: Printer: Vulcanus Max 30 CoreXY Rafts: Not necessary Supports: Not needed Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 25%
