E3D V6 Clamp with BLTouch
thingiverse
I needed a reliable mount for my E3D V6 Bowden carriage DL V1.2 part, which I had printed and was using. Tightening the bolts and setting it up proved almost impossible. I decided on a solid mount instead, knowing that firmware could compensate for small discrepancies. This solution came together as a remix of two clamps: one from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2668564 and another from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1221968. I haven't printed this yet, so I'm unsure if it needs further work. However, it meets my requirements and will be updated once tested. EDIT: After printing and testing on both printers, I created several versions to accommodate different setups. The original version had a 1mm offset, while five new versions offered offsets ranging from .1mm to .5mm. My software setup worked best with the .3mm clamp, but you can likely make up for differences in your own software setup. I made multiple versions anyway. EDIT: I noticed that the 1mm version was upside down, so it's been removed for now. It will be corrected and re-added soon. In the meantime, these variations are available to try out. They print quickly, taking no more than 30 minutes at maximum.
