E3D V6 Delta bed level switch mount

I needed a more reliable way to measure my bed levelness and set the z offset on my Anycubic Kossel Linear Plus with my E3d V6 hot end and effector. I had been using a thin film switch that fit onto the nozzle, but it started to get loose and I was worried it would fall off during a level routine. My first attempt involved a tiny lever limit switch, like those at the top of my towers, but this tiny switch was too large. I buy these tiny switches on Ebay; they are SPST NO push button switches. I see them in my Arduino Nanos as a reset switch. They measure 3.5mm X 6mm. I don't think they were designed for heavy use, but they're tiny and cheap. Like 20 switches for a buck. Tiny being the prerequisite; cheap is an added bonus. They have snap action, so I think the repeatability should be pretty close, but I don't have a way to measure that. To assemble it, I ran the wires through the block first, then soldered them to the switch. A tiny-tiny solder job was required. Be careful not to overheat the switch. I pushed the switch into the pocket. I didn't glue it in, but I'm thinking about it. Either silicone or super glue would work. I used a #4 sheet metal screw, 3/8" long to screw the two pieces together. It's hard to set the switch position in relation to the nozzle. I assembled it and mounted it onto my E3D V6 heat block, then lowered the hot end close to the bed. I did this cold, of course. I got it down to 1mm and adjusted the switch. I got it to 0mm and adjusted the switch. I used an ohm meter hooked up to the switch. I set it so the switch just gets activated when the nozzle gets to where I can slide a single sheet of paper under it with a little resistance. The advantage of doing it this way is there's no z offset. The disadvantage is they're cheap and I don't know how long it will last, but for this price, who cares? These parts are small and you want them to be pretty strong, so I would print them with at least 50% infill, if not 100%. I combined both parts together with a tiny brim between them, making it a one piece print for easy printing. I printed mine in PLA .2 layer 50% infill. Happy leveling!
