E3D V6 Hotend Mount - Single Version - with 40mm Fan - CTC / Makerbot Replicator / Flashforge
thingiverse
Inspired by the dual Mount of MacNite and the reversed remix of jartz, I've created this SINGLE e3D Hotend Mount all by myself from scratch. You can see the e3d cooling fins from the front and you can attach almost any part-cooler in the front! For cooling the e3d hotend you should use a 40mm fan, giving you more airflow and cooling power than the standard 30mm one! In total you'll need: - 6 m3 nuts - 6 m3 25mm screws for the attachment of the hotend, fan and mount itself - 40mm fan for hotend cooling If you've printed yours please leave a picture of yours in the "I've made one" section. By converting your dual extruder to a single extruder you change your hotend x-Offset. To get the Center of the Build Plate with the changed hotend position again, you have to change the extruder offset in your printers onboard settings to ~144.5 mm in x-axis direction. I've simply unpluged everything from the second extruder and changed my onboard printer settings and my simplify3d Slicer to 1 extruder.
