<p>I wanted the “stock look” and the mounting schemes provided by the manufacturer of the aftermarket speaker did not fit the tri-lobe stock mounting scheme and I did not want to drill permanent holes in my door. This was designed for the JBL GTO 629 speaker; however, it may work for others with a similar mounting scheme. </p><p>BONUS: this also retains the stock electrical connection if you have the old speaker. I used a soldering iron to gently remove the metal spade connections and used the soldering iron to insert the old metal connectors into the printed receptacle/socket. Same satisfying “click”.</p>
