Want a unique executive desk toy? Look no further. A gyroscope gimbal for a micro brushless quadcopter such as the Eachine UK65 / US65. Check out the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QIM-t1TEDGc I can't find a use for this beyond it being an elaborate fidget spinner, but if anyone has any ideas, let us know in the comments. You will need some extra things for this print: 1) Six bearings, part number 693ZZ - 8mm outer diameter, 3mm inner diameter, 4mm thick. 2) Blu-tack to hold the quadcopter in place (easiest method I know) and to stop the frame from sliding when the quad is spinning like crazy. Printing will likely take over 6 hours. Use PLA for its rigidness, and these instructions for the parts: 1) Pins - 0.1mm layer height, no support. 6 are needed but it's best to print 7 or 8 at once in case you break one or two, as when they're printed individually they may be slightly too small to grip the bearings & rings. 2) Cradle - 0.2mm layer height, support everywhere. 3) Rings & stand - 0.2mm layer height, support on printing bed only, the holes for the pins & bearings are designed with triangle tops so as not to need any support during printing. When the quadcopter is in place, try to make sure its center of gravity is in the absolute center of the rings, this is where the Blu-tack works well for placement adjustment. Have airmode turned on when 'flying' in acro mode, that way you leave the throttle at 0 and only move the yaw + pitch + roll controls. In angle mode, raise the throttle just enough to make the motors spin, so yaw + pitch + roll work. I know the cradle isn't very well designed and you'll need a small file/knife to trim the parts that clip into the center ring, I'm still trying to figure that out, engineering isn't always easy :)
