Easier to print (but longer) simple piston pen
thingiverse
This is almost the same simple pen but made for better printing (which made it longer, with 45-degree threads and surfaces) also now available in design for Peter Bock nib modules as well as old number six nib with feeder and unknown reform nib module. Also, the cap-thread is now put on the same level as the body which makes it easier to hold. The cup is tight and it's easy to polish the body. Here, the technology of making an ink-window has been tested. However, the ink window is optional and requires a way more polishing inside without polishing outside it will not be transparent. Pens are made in PLA (blue & yellow-orange) and PETg (coral). The difference between two sizes: + S measures about 9mm/2mm thick; M measures about 10mm/2mm thick with O-rings + M has no problem with breaking a screw if the inner tube of the pen is not well polished + S fits better in most hands while M only fits for relatively big ones + PETg has more problems with layer adhesion if the fan is on, and it's almost impossible to print good screws for size S so I used PLA To make a pen you need: * a nib #6 + feeder or Peter Bock nib-modules 060 or 250 * O-rings (see paragraph above) * different sandpaper, super glue, and some sticks to make devices for internal polishing * silicon grease As usual, sources can be found here: https://github.com/sanja-byelkin/SimplePistonPen
