I was having issues printing out the original spool holder, so I made this one. Basically, it's thicker which allows for better adhesion to the print bed for printers that aren't fully optimized yet, and I got rid of the rounded ends on the beams. The overhang was causing me problems initially. This will take longer to print than the old spool holder, but is probably sturdier and is certainly easier to print. If you need a temporary spool holder for while you print this, I used an old spindle used for holding CDs, put about 10 old CDs on it to acts as bearings, and then put my spool on that. It worked well enough for my longer prints until I got this out. Instructions Just print out the parts and press fit them together. It's pretty tight, and it took me quite a bit of force. All that you need is two m3 screws and an m3 nut. If your spools hole is too wide, you can look at the thing I remixed this from. There are spool hole adapters there.
