Easy Folding Phone Stand

Easy Folding Phone Stand

thingiverse

A sturdy folding phone stand that sets up easily, locks in place, and collapses quickly to a slim 12mm. It also raises the phone high enough to allow a charging cord to be attached. Print Settings Printer Brand: Robo 3D Printer: R1 ABS + PLA Model Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .3mm Infill: 10% Post-Printing Use 1.75mm filament or thin hanger wire cut to length for hinge pins. A drop of superglue at either end will hold the pins in place. To set up the stand, push on the catch to release the halves. Push out the brace through the front hole and seat it in the slot in the base. Push the shelf up through the bottom hole, pull it through the opening, and push the shelf down to lock the stand in its open position. It takes less time to do than to describe. Folding it is even easier: flip up the shelf, lift the front enough to clear the shelf with the brace, flip up the brace and close the stand BY THE WAY… I’m glad to freely share my designs, though if you print it and are pleased with the result I would be tickled pink if you returned here and left a small tip!
