Easy Grip - linegrip for slackline

EASY GRIP is a linegrip for highline, easy to put into place (more than other grips in which you have to use two hands), economical and customizable in many colors. The idea was influenced by already existing grips like Woodgrip (by Kyriakos Kyriakakis). This slackline tool started with the idea of Giovanni Marengo, a slackliner from Turin (Italy) and the collaboration with RoF, for the modeling and the realization. Suitable for tensioning 2.5 cm webbing by Buckingham method (Grip + Hangover/Pulley). The original prototype is printed with PLA filament with 100% infill with a diameter of print of 0.2mm (we recommend printing both part of the grip in the original direction of the file). In order to make your Easy Grip you will also need: - 1 x 110 cm dyneema string - 5 or 6 mm diameter - 1 x 15 cm dyneema string - 5 or 6 mm to make the second ring - 2 x vibram stripes 10cm x 26mm to increase the friction of the two printed parts with the webbing - 1 x Cyanoacrylate to glue the vibram stripes in. Easy Grip has been used several times in sea water by I.E. Slackline Sicilia in the last meeting in Cefalù and by many other highliners in Italy, France and Switzerland. 4 versions have been made before this last model. 2 grips have been tested in California by Ryan Jenks. One grip broke at 18.6 kN. SUPPORT THE PAGE ON FB: www.facebook.com/easygrip We hope this open source file can be useful for somebody out there =) SLACKLIFE !!! ..... and enjoy EASYGRIP !
