This is a remix of a design on Thingiverse by ch1a. his design attaches easier but it came off too easy and would not stay on with a pavestone under my printer.

I added printable 3030 extrusion nuts and designed an easy slide off attach system. It will work with any 3030 extrusion and other M3 T-nuts of the appropriate size, not just on Prusa. Everything is support free except for the attach point.

Print settings:

Later height: 0.20 mm
Seam: Nearest (Recommended for faster print and no stringing)
Supports: Only for the Attach point

Instructions:

Print:

2x Attach points (Print with the screw head hole facing down. Supports will help for the hole.)
2x 3030 extrusion nut
1x Bin
1x Lid (The normal lid is for the Bin and Bin Long, the Lid Wide is for the Bin Wide and Bin XL)

Hardware:

2x M3x14 screw
2x M3 nut

Assembly:

Press the M3 nut into the extrusion nut After getting the 3030 extrusion nut on, attach the attach point but don't full tighten, leave enough for it to move a little. Adjust the so there is enough room for the bin to sit against the 3030 extrusion and set the back one a little closer so it can slide back to the proper position. Attach the lid and slide the bin on till it fully sits on the attach points. Ensure there is gap between the motor and the bin. Remove the bin and finish tightening.

Update 31 Jul 2022

New line up added. I realized when I changed the mounting the bin was farther from the printer. so I opened up the top more. I also add the Bin Long which extends all the way to the end of the LCD, a Bin Wide which is twice as wide, and finally an Bin XL that has the extra length and width. I tried to make a Bin joke but I couldn't come up with one.

Update: 30 Jul 2022

I have added 2020 Extrusion attach point and nut for those who don't have a prusa or 3030 extrusion on their printer. I would be happy to make it for other printers I would just need some measurements. The attach points on the box can be relocated. Will add Larger boxes later too.

If you like this one take a look at my other projects I'm always working on something.
