Easy Print PCB Clamp / Vice

Easy Print PCB Clamp / Vice

thingiverse

This is a PCB clamp / vice / helping hand that's quite easy to print with no supports. Just be sure to use at least 4 shells and then you can do 10% infill with no problems. There's a ball joint on the cleat so you can loosen and tighten while keeping the slots on each end of the clamp aligned It's designed for a 1/4-20 threaded rod and requires tapping a few holes post-printing. I printed it in PLA and it worked fine. Just tap slowly and be sure your chips are being cleared. This was a quick design and experiment and my first upload. I wanted to play with ball joint design/printing and tolerancing for tapping. It worked out quite well. Feel free to remix. Enjoy!
