Stand for controller can be mount on the rest space of the shaft - beside of the Z axis. It could be mount as snap on two shaft. And, to hold the controller, recommend to use glue gun inside face of the stand. The firmware is Marlin 2.0 for modified case. It's shows printing progress as 0 to 99% by LED. The key function is not same as the original one. Please keep in mind that this firmware is not stable. This firmware source has modified to get the backlash compensation function of Marlin 2.0 to reach better accuracy - X1 or PICO has poor accuracy due to stepper's backlash. * 8th Aug. 2020 - upload 0.7 version Following is basic key function. Print key - start the print. While printing, pause and resume key. To stop, pause the printing and press the home key. Plus key - before hot-end not heated 180 C.degree, Z axis up and down to show not available to feed. press again when hot-end over than 180 C.degree, it's start feed. This is not act while printing and paused condition. * 0.7Version - changes Short press when before printing When printer don't have home position, it starts homing. After homing or know the position, it starts to heat up the heater. After the heat over than enough to push out filament, extruder start push out the filament 50mm to insert the filament. Long press when before printing When printer don't have home position, it starts homing. After homing or known the position, it increases the Z axis 10mm. While printing : Extruder push out 2mm filament - no, short or long press checking. Minus key - before hot-end not heated 180 C.degree, Z axis up and down to show not available to retract. press again when hot-end over than 180 C.degree, it's start retract. This is not act while printing and paused condition. * 0.7Version - changes Short press when before printing When printer don't have home position, it starts homing. After homing or know the position, it starts to heat up the heater. After the heat over than enough to push out filament, extruder retract by firmware retraction motion (G10). Long press when before printing When printer don't have home position, it starts homing. After homing or known the position, it decreases the Z axis 10mm. While printing : Extruder pull out 10mm filament - no, short or long press checking. Home key - Before printing, find the original position. While paused print, it's cancel the printing. While feed or retract motion, it's cancel the feed or retract. * 0.7 Version - changes. Short press before printing Deactivate the stepper and heater. Long press before printing. Start to homing motion. *0.7 Version - changes about LED LED blinking before printing. One is for pushed key while processing it's action. (ready stats = start LED) One is for projecting current temperature of hotend as below order. start led : 20 ~ 80 C.degree start led, + led : 80 ~ 130 C.degree start led, + led, - led : 130 ~ 190 C.degree start led, + led, - led, home led : 190 ~ 220 C.degree : ready to push out the filament. So, EASYTHREED X1 may required some modification or Arduino setting to flash. I'm not specialist of programming. So, further question for the source couldn't handle. I hope real programmer makes this source better. If this release of firmware source could make issue or violation of GLP license, let me know. As I told you, I'm not programmer, and do not know how to release this kind of source to where or how.
