Echo Dot Stand

Echo Dot Stand

This is an Echo Dot V2 stand that I created using 123D Design. It adds a decorative touch while enhancing the overall sound volume. This is an original design and remixes are encouraged. Print Settings Printer: Flashforge Creator Pro Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: .2 mm Infill: 20% Rectilinear, grid or Triangular fill pattern Notes: The Echo Dot V2 fits perfectly when I print it with PLA, I haven't tried anything else but note that a perfect fit may require a small amount of rescaling with other filaments. Takes about 4 to 5 hours to print at 80mm/s. Dimensions work well with PLA but the fit will probably be little tight with ABS so you may need to scale it to 1.1% or so. The circular slot on the bottom is for a strand of Ninjaflex filament that will keep it from sliding on slick surfaces, simply insert a piece of Ninjaflex into the slot after printing... this, of course, is optional but it's there if you need it. The hole through the bottom is there to help you remove the Dot from the Stand when the fit is extremely tight... just push the Dot free with the eraser side of a pencil. I used Simplify3D to slice and print this model. It was designed using 123D Design and sliced using Simplify 3D.
