Echo Dot Wall Mount

Echo Dot Wall Mount

thingiverse

This is another wall bracket for the Echo Dot (Generation 1). The difference is that this bracket maintains the horizontal orientation of the 6 microphones -- the renderings show the bracket on its side. Granted you'll only be getting 180 degrees pickup, but that may still improve the mic performance. There are two cutouts on the back side so you can run the power and speaker cords from one side or the other with clearance for the plug bodies. The difference between the two is the width of the mounting plates -- 95mm or 50mm. I made the 95mm first for flat walls and then the 50mm to mount on the side of a bed's headboard. I print this model on its "back" (as shown) and use supports.
