The original was too big for my printer. Also, I didn't like how the power adapter was completely covered. So, I cut off the top of the adapter cover, and I shortened the middle so that it would fit on my printer. This works for both 1st and 2nd Gen Echo Dots. The 1st Gen will stick out a little bit, but it still holds well. Dimensions are 89 x 135 x 38 mm.
