Eclair/Cameflex mount to Sony E-mount (NEX)

The original Cameflex camera mounts are made of brass and an internal chamfered ledge gives a friction lock for the lens, although the lenses also have a cut out on one of the mounting flanges that can be used to lock the lens with some sort of key or pin. This doesn't lend itself to FDM 3D printing, as the chamfer is very slight and plastic tends to flex too much. This STLs internal (Cameflex) ledge is shaped to allow FDM printing without support (if you can rely on printing overhangs) and has M4 threads to allow a M4 screw (or grub screw), into the slot on one of the Cameflex lens' flanges, to prevent the lens inadvertently twisting and falling out. You may need to re-tap the M4 threads on most prints. You don't need to screw down on to the lens, it's just to prevent sideways turning. However, try without at first, it may not be required. FDM: Adapter prints best with the "NEX" mount on top (ie printed last), with support on it's flanges. If your print bed is close to the nozzle and prints are 'squished' it may result in a loose Cameflex fit, if this is the case you could print it on a raft or cut a paper washer/shim (i/dia 48mm, o/dia 57mm) to put between lens and adapter. Theretical adapter thickness is 30mm (48-18mm), this print is 29.75mm to allow the lens to go slightly past infinity.
