Eclipson Model V thermal glider mod

<h1><a href="https://www.eclipson-airplanes.com/model-v">Eclipson Model V</a> - extend wing modification</h1> Providing stretched center wing and instruction to mod. <a href="https://www.eclipson-airplanes.com/model-v">Model V</a> is the best flying model I printed so far. A low drag flyer with good glide, easy to hand throw, stall characteristic is moderate. I extended wing a bit to be a thermal glider, extended wing to 1.64m span from 1.37. It flies better and slower with good glide ratio, can circle tight as well. Flyable with original fuselage but pitch became sensitive to power change, so I printed another fuse with stretching tail 22mm or so. It will not penetrate wind like expensive molded wing gliders, but far better than foam one. I loaded ArduPlane to extend reach, it soared up far over 400m this weekend. <h2> Instruction to print</h2> <ul> <li>Center wing</p> <p>Use included stl file instead of 'WingC_wo_landing_G.stl' in the kit.</li> <li>Wing1L and Wing1R</p> <p>Load them to Cura. Stretch Z axis only to 150% using Scale tool and print</li> <li>Fuselage mod</p> <p>Optional. Original fuselage is flyable with this extended wing, but pitch is a bit sensitive to power change. Stretch Z axis of 'Fus3' to 115% or so to extend a bit. </li> </ul> Recommend to insert longer 4mm carbon pipe or tube to span Wing 1L to 1R. Included modified 'wc1_nc_160%.stl' file which is edited using MeshMixer. It is cut into 3 pieces leaving mount holes, stretched outer and merged again, I used regular PLA to print.
