Complete real-world build of a cheap/simple/generic 3 axis controller module to replace an old rotary engraving table's proprietary external controller and ancient step drivers. Constructed from off the shelf $10 TB6600 step modules (1X to 32X microstepping), $12 BL-USBMach controller, $6 solid state relay, and $20 24V DC 15A switching power supply. CNC plasma cut 14 ga. steel, easy 90 degree bends, (optional) welds, DIN rail, and two 3D printed brackets.DIN rail added at the last moment and ends welded directly to chassis. Includes unfolded parts and drill template in DXFs. Assembled with 4mm and 0.25" socket head cap screws, washers, and nylock nuts. Manually switched AC power to PC and power supply with controller operated output (via. SSR) for an external spindle or motor speed controller.Note: The BL-USBMach controller is (most likely) only compatible with Mach3 (which has been obsolete for years), but allows Mach3 to operate on Windows 10 (et. al.) without spending any real money.
