The model in question has a 19mm exhaust side. If your engine inlet is bigger than 19mm or in a funny shape, an adapter with transition shape is required. A minimum length ratio of 5mm for every 1mm diameter difference. I connected the manifold to a tube with 22mm internal diameter without transition. The sharp expansion of gas from 19mm to 22mm caused some backpressure waves and subsequent lag/misfire issues. Uploading since the workshop I housed my racing go-kart and all engine parts burned down last winter
