Support Cap was crafted specifically to complement the 'Ecowitt Lightning Detection Sensor', enabling it to fit snugly into a 2" PVC pipe. I've used an Ecowitt temperature and humidity sensor as a placeholder in this example, but I'm expecting my Lightning Detection Sensor to arrive soon. Fortunately, I've been informed that both sensors share identical housing designs. Please note that the temperature and humidity sensor should not be inserted into the PVC pipe. Once my Lightning Detection Sensor arrives, I'll update these images accordingly. I'd like to express gratitude for your understanding in this matter. To provide a better fit, I designed a simple Support Cap that securely holds the Ecowitt Lightning Detection Sensor in place at both the top and bottom. This design ensures the sensor stays firmly positioned within the 2" PVC pipe. The innovative 2" PVC housing design for the Ecowitt Lightning Detection Sensor was generously shared by a member of the Ecowitt FB group.
