Made this design in Solidworks using mostly circles to avoid the hard lines in many of the other designs. filleted edges as well for comfort. dimensions necessary to recreate or adapt: 11mm radius holes 25mm from center to center of outside holes 7mm thickness 3mm radius fillet the current design doesn't fit the bearings without sanding a little material away on the inside of the holes. I'm going to try printing at a 101% scale and see if that fixes the problem. Otherwise, i will probably just increase bearing hole radius by .1 mm or so. I saw 5.625 mm for a radius somewhere as a good number... let me know if you try any of this and it works/doesn't work! Edit 1: I printed the second design at 101% scale and the bearing fit without sanding. nto quite a snug enough fit though. I'm going to try 100.75% next. Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator (5th Generation) Supports: Yes Resolution: .2 Infill: no Notes: Standard settings. Haven't experimented much yet. Let me know if you try something and it does/doesn't work! Edit 1: I would recommend you do full fill especially if you are making finger buttons. My second print only used supports and 10 percent infill and it warped slightly. Post-Printing Sanding I sanded my first print just for comfort. It also requires sanding out the holes a little until the bearings fit snugly. How I Designed This SolidWorks Designed using mainly circles in SolidWorks. None: I accidentally did the SolidWorks Design in inches and had to convert to mm through some scaling. Just remember to set your worksheet to mm before drawing.
