Edge 540

This is an accurate model of the Edge 540, an extremely aerobatic plane. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=htrWcZ_TlO4 It was modelled off actual plans from the exact plane and so very precise. There is some assembly required which can be done using any plastic glue, I used superglue.  The control surfaces are printed separately so that you can glue them in whatever position you want, personally I positioned them in a way so that it can “perform” a knife edge. The wings, ailerons, rudder, horizontal stabiliser and elevator have to be printed twice, but mirrored so they can be opposite.  The wings and stabiliser can be pushed into the fuselage, the two parts of the fuselage are printed standing up.  The only part that needs support is the propeller, the rudder and the landing gear, everything else can be printed however you want. This is only a model and so is not designed to fly at this scale as it is too heavy and not balanced correctly.  Having said that, if you want to make it a remote-control plane (add rc) you can, you will need to scale it up and hollow it out to ensure it is light enough.
