Version 2 coming soon, based on my SR mount.
I had trouble leveling the bed after adding a Volcano hot end to my Flsun QQ-S Pro with Foxies firmware with the head stopping just above the bed, so I figured moving my effector housing up about 6mm would fix the problem. Plus I loved the idea of dual 5015 fan ducts, and Orecus very generously shared his source, so this is the result. Because the Volcano hotend is about the same location as stock, you should be able to use your stock fan duct. Don't have the Volcano? I have a shorter version of the fans. What does my short 5015 have over the original? It's sturdier, since it supports the fan on both mount points, without blocking the fan inlet. It has a longer transition from the 5015 opening to the 4010 outlet, so less restrictive. For the 5015 adapters, you'll need M4 hardware for the spacers and M2x8 to attach the fan adapters. Everything else is #3.
Trouble leveling? With my Volcano, I had trouble leveling initially, then changed this setting in robin_mini_config.txt: >Z_PROBE_HEIGHT 19 #The height difference between the probe and the nozzle (was 17.2) I found 20 was too much and resulted with z-adjust starting firmly on the bed. 19 seems to be a good start. Update your config file and copy to your sdcard and boot your printer. You'll have to relevel after the change.
Like my work? Post a make
