Why waste plastic printing a huge adapter? When you can just print the missing 'difference' If your Vacuum cleaner has a Latch, that fits, but the hose is too small, you can just print this moon shaped filler to compensate and allow you to use the latch. This is designed for 49mm male hoses to 55mm female vacuum ports. Note the female vacuum port actually is a "\_/" shape going from 55mm shrinking to 50mm towards the inside part... This slope may not exist for all vacuum cleaners, so depending on your vacuum cleaner,you may need to use glue to help it fit properly. The hole (moon crescent gap) is to allow the existing latch on the hose to be used with the female port that would otherwise not be practical in an adapter.
