This eggholder features a glue-free design when tightly fit and can be done in different materials like plywood, acrylic glass or aluminum. This version is build with 1/4" / 6 mm materials. The parametric CAD-files allows to adapt for different thickness. My build was done on a desktop cnc-machine by Stepcraft from 6 mm birch plywood using a spiral-toothed 1 mm flute. A laser cutter might be a good alternative tool. Visit https://www.zenziwerken.de/en/ for more interesting designs. It is free for personal use and – if you understand the principals of parametric design – pretty straight forward. As you can see the design is based on basic shapes. The size was determined by the size of a standard-sized egg.
