Parts to replace the current 32mm sized hose and tools on my Einhell shop vac with a larger diameter (50mm) hose - I found I kept getting clogs in the hose vacuuming up chips and swarf from around my machine tools.

Print instructions

All parts assume that the hose has an ID of 50mm and an OD of 60mm, as per this hose that I've used from here:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Flexi-Hose-50mm-2-Metres-Wet-and-Dry-vacuum-Gutter-Vacuum-Cleaner-Accessory/143361287519

Thread on the Vac Screw Sleeve is sized for the Einhell vac I have (BT-VC 1500 SA) which is an odd-ball M68x5; I've sized it at M65.5x5 for an easier fit. The 'thread' used to engage with the spiral ribbing on the hose is a 2mm triangular section spiral with a 6mm pitch.

I was going to use glue on the hose to stop it from coming out, but it's a tight enough fit that when the parts are screwed on to the hose the friction is enough.

Step files have been included if you want / need to change anything.

Snap ring sits in groove in inner insert (see pics). Push insert with ring into the screw sleeve so that the tabs on the ring engage with the holes in the sleeve.

Screw one end of the hose into the inner insert (left hand thread) Screw the other end into the cuff (again, left hand thread)
