I feared that the printed parts with tall vertical dimensions would make the completed sword very fragile. With the layers oriented 90 degrees, the blade will have much more strength and durably. I also did my best to give this sword and old weathered look on some parts as that is what it looked like in game and on the game texture files. The large dowel voids in the handle is for a 10mm or 3/8" (410mm long) dowel and the two smaller dowel voids are for 4mm or 5/32" (705 mm) dowels. 3D PRINT KIT OPTION Please message me if you are interested in buying this item as a 3D printed kit.
