This is a little stand I needed to make for a laser spirograph. Finding a place to mount these little motors is always a tricky task, and precision is a must with optics. It's essentially a cube which has some holes for zip ties. I've kept the file very simple, so you can modify the model and customize if for your own needs! Important!! Motor Dimensions: 20mm width (perpendicular to axle, across round body sections) 25mm body length (parallel to the axle) 15mm body height (where the motor is flattened in two spots) Be sure to take several measurements and confirm everything will line up. The holes are located precisely so that two tight wire ties will securely affix the motor. There is a gap in the bottom so that the block may be stood on a flat surface, and the wire ties will not interfere with adhesion. Final height of the center of the axle is approximately 1.25 inches vertically mounted. Hope it's helpful! Instructions ABS plastic is recommended. It is soft and workable for a wide variety of situations. You will need two zip ties, mounting tape, or some other way of attaching the motor to the mount. If you use mounting tape, the zip tie holes may be tapped and used as screw holes.
