I replaced the hand crank with a geared electric motor I found here https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07P55RLX5 The SCAD file is parametised so you should be able to change dimensions to suit a different motor. I wired the motor to a USB cable and power it from a phone charger (it runs fine on 5 volts). Remove the hand wheel and its top mount and replace with these two parts. The motor simply pushes into the "D" hole in the shaft - no fastenings needed. If the "D" wears and slips, you could glue it in place If you want to change the sizes to suit a different motor, you can alter the relevant dimensions in Openscad. The first line in the OpenScad file determines whether to make the motor bracket or the motor shaft. Just make the value a "1" or a "2". If you are new to Openscad, just do the following: 1) Download and install Openscad from https://openscad.org/downloads.html 2) After OpenScad is installed, double-click the supplied "momount.scad" file and it should open in Openscad. Or run OpenScad and open the file from that. 3) change the first line to make the variable "part" either 1 or 2 4) press F6 and wait for the part to compile 5) Click on "File" > "export" > " > "export as stl" then save it where you want 6) Repeat from step (4) to make the other STL If you don't know OpenScad, just experiment by changing various dimensions in the first few lines, hit F5 or F6 to see what effect it has had.
