Electric Skateboard 24mm Flashlight Mount

<p>A 24mm diameter flashlight mounting system for generic mountainboard trucks. These were designed to be used with Convoy S2/S2+ 18650 powered flashlights. Included is the FreeCAD file if anyone wants to modify the design for their own use.<br><br>The truck clamp and truck light adapter are best printed in TPU, as the vibration of the road will obliterate PLA and the flex is basically required to fit on this specific truck. The rear clamp (truck clamp2) can be printed in any material. I've had success with PLA and PETG: I recommend at least 4 perimeters.</p><p>M3 nuts and bolts are used to secure the system to the truck. Any length can be used for the clamp mount and the flashlight holder pivot, but 12-14mm length is recommended for attaching the clamp-light pivot adapter. 20mm works well for the clamp mount, which is self tapping. There are 2 M3 nut insets on the inside of the truck clamp for the bolts to bite into. Washers are recommended for every bolt head to help distribute the load across the print more evenly and thus improve strength.</p><p>The lights are easily removable. The design is intended to be used with lights that have clips attached, and with velcro straps to keep the lights in place. I used RaceDayQuads 155mm straps to keep the lights in place, but most straps of a somewhat similar length will work just fine. I've never had a light fall out over hundreds of miles using this method.</p><p>To get the mount to fit on the other side of the truck, use Prusa Slicer's mirror function on the stl.</p>
