This thing is a remix of the awesome electricskateoard motor mount from Solidgeek. I was thinking about how to incease rigidy of the original design even further and came up with this solution. Compared to the original design, a fixed angular orientation of the motor mount was chosen compared to the flexible adjustment of the original, since I didn't really use adjustment. Also the clamping mechanism to the trucks was modified, since I found the original to become loose sometimes. Now, two bolts are pressing against the trucks to hopefully increase the interconnection. Lastly, a profile alongside the arc was created to decrease bending. Tip: 1) This mount is designed to be attached on the right truck side, when looking on the skateboard bottom. 2) Possibly, the arc profile will reduce the effective adjustment range of the motor 3) The angular orientation was chosen to match the 44 degree trucks The design is printing right now. Thus, no practical validation of the design adjustments were made so far. Review and images will follow soon.
