Electric toothbrush head holder

Electric toothbrush head holder

thingiverse

This holder can hold two electric toothbrush heads. It holds them up so they can drain and dry. I made it with a sloped base so that water would run off. It should be printed in 3 parts (they can be printed at the same time, but as separate objects); this is to avoid all of the scaffolding it would require for the head-holding arms to be printed. If you have access to a flexible filament, you should print the head-holders with it. I tried to make the semi-circular holders thicker, and they snapped when I put a head in. I think thicker semicircles with a flexible filament would be better. Print Settings Printer Brand: Robo 3D Printer: R1 ABS + PLA Model Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.1 mm Infill: 100% Notes: I printed two versions of this, one at 100% infill and one at 25%. I prefer the higher infill because it helps keep the holder stable; the one problem with this design is that the heads are very heavy, so it might be prone to tipping over if it's too light. If that's a problem, I may print another version of this with a cavity in the bottom; I'll glue some heavy washers in there to keep it steady. Post-Printing Arm attachment I just used superglue. If that doesn't work well I'll post an update / updated design.
