Electrical Binding Post (bus bar) for Ring Terminals

This is a simple part that lets you use an M5 bolt with an 8mm head and matching hardware as an electrical binding post (essentially a single post bus bar) for tying multiple ring terminals together. I needed this for use in an arcade machine but there are many applications where this could be useful. Print Settings Supports: Yes Notes: I used ABS for this part since it will see some stress. Supports from build platform are recommended for a good fit of the bolt head on the underside. Post-Printing You'll want to use an M5 bolt with an 8mm head (4.5mm head height). The hardware is less critical but I recommend a washer with a 14mm OD for the bottom and a lock washer or a split washer for the top under the nut. The bolt I used in the example image had a 25mm thread length Ring terminals are #10 size which can be found at any auto parts store. This has a very snug fit for assembly I screwed the bolt in through the bottom as much as I could then I installed the large washer and nut and making sure the head was aligned properly used the nut to pull the bolt the rest of the way through. The end result makes for a very stable post even when the nut isn't installed.
