conversation from an known hobby jigsaw to a "hotwire"-version to cut styrofoam in the easy way. Instructions printed in PLA, 20% infill, 0.1mm layerheight. you need also two stripped wire clips (in german called "Luesterklemme") with its screws for 1,5mm2 wire diameter. for the electrical i use this resistor wire : 0,3mm 19 Ohm/m Kanthal for the best resulting temperatur to cut styrofoam i took a adjustable power supply : 3.1V, 1.25A feel free to experiment with other resistor wire and values
