I installed an adjustable powersupply in my garage. The unit is hanging on the wall and works perfect. Only problem was that I have pretty long silicone insulated power leads with banana jacks and clamps and they ware always in tangled or not to be found or in te way. time for a dedicated spot for these and get organised. In my case it holds 4 wires and am happy ever since. never have to look for them. they are just there when i need them.
