The Anet A8 Electronics Box MKII lower enclosure hinge ears (near the mosfet side) is particularly thin. When printed in PETG the ears have a tendency to snap off ultimately making it impossible to attach the lid to the enclosure. This remix is a repair/refit part for the electronics enclosure. It is designed to be adhered right over the existing enclosure, without removing any of the wiring, by doubling the strength of the lower box wall as well as significantly increasing the strength of the lower hinge by several magnitudes due to a significant increase in contact area. You must first snap/cut off the existing lower ears on your enclosure to be flush with the upper surface of the wall the ear sits on (if they aren't already snapped off). You will then need to apply an adhesive to the inside section of this part and afix it right over the top of the lower wall. Test fit before applying adhesive, you may need to trim to fit. I recommend using Cyanoacrylate and accelerator for the adhesive. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0000DD1QQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0000DD1QR/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
