Electronic Component Ventilation Spacer

Electronic Component Ventilation Spacer

prusaprinters

I had a problem with my DirecTV receiver over heating because it was stacked on top of another electronic component. I created this spacer to allow for more air flow between the components. You can add rubber feet to keep it from sliding around. It also works great under a lap top computer to help keep it cool. The size can be adjusted by changing the X and Y. The Z should not be changed. I printed this using HIPS and adding a raft will help keep it from warping while printing.

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

LulzBot

Printer:

TAZ 5

Rafts:

Yes

Supports:

No

Infill:

20%

How I Designed This

Autodesk 360

Category: Gadgets
