Electronic Housing Arduino/Ramps1.4 /LCD
myminifactory
I recently undertook a comprehensive redesign of my very first printer. Unable to find an ideal design for a separate housing that could accommodate all electronics and LCD, I decided to take matters into my own hands. The Arduino/Ramps require no screws; I incorporated sliders into the housing and cover which securely hold them in place. The overall design is as compact as possible while still providing ample space for wiring. Printing at a layer height of 1.5 - 0.2 mm has proven to be a good choice...the body requires some easy-to-remove support material. The front cover can be secured with screws, but it's likely that it could fit snugly enough into the body without them. I hope you enjoy this project.
