Elegoo Saturn Filter

An activated charcoal filter/rebreather for the Elegoo Saturn. It lifts the whole cover for 54mm, so be aware you won't be able to look into the VAT anymore until the object is printed high enough, even in pause mode. The filter part starts with a generic 5015 fan, you may trimm the fan to your likings. As stoppers to keep the activated charcoal in place i used "Jewel Aquarium bioCarb Meshfilter" ( https://www.juwel-aquarium.de/Produkte/Filterung/Filtermedien/bioCarb/ ) It's another activated charcoal filter, you may use the whole filter with it for even more airflow. As mainfilter i used 4mm activated charcoal pellets, and again the bioCarb as stopper. The filter is big enough to place the standard Elegoo Minifilter on the left side, without blocking the airflow. I would recommend a 24v fan when you can. To power the fan, i opened up the printer, y-splitted on of the mainfans (MB F+) and routed the cabled out the grill, put a Step-Up-Converter in between and running it on 23V. Depending on your gcode config, your filterfan will start only when printing (like mine). (the red-black mix was my bad due running out of red...) You need atleast a 300x300mm printer to get it printed. If have no intent to do a smaller multipart one. The round brims on the edges are for better adhesion, just rip em off later. You may add supports for the top of the fan hole. BOM: - 5015 Fan - 4x M3x8mm screws - ridgid but flow friendly holder (bioCarb Mesh) - 4mm activated charcoal pellets - soldering iron optional: - XH2Y connector - XH2A socket
