EleksDraw pen clamp

EleksDraw pen clamp

Assembling my EleksDraw unit was no big deal until I got to actually trying to use the supplied pen holder. The clamping mechanism is just one thumbscrew against the pen shaft to the backside v-block. If you plan on using cheap pens (like department store generics) you discover that the pen shafts are small diameter and the thumbscrew doesn't have enough clamping force alone for stability. So, here is my simple/stupid solution. A smaller v-block meant to create a clamp from the thumbscrew side. A small dimple centered in the back side creates a location for the thumbscrew to center the piece against the pen shaft. Voila! Pen is clamped, no shifting and a 2c build on almost any 3D printer of your choice. I'll update this with some pictures of it in use shortly, but if you have one of these style pen holders it should make sense how to install it.
