3S2P 18650 holder for Elektron Digitakt drum computer. Holds 6 18650 batteries and a small BMS, screws into the VESA holes from the inside. Alternative to using 21700 cells as this can get you about 7000mah (2x 3500) compared to the max 5000mah from a 21700. Thanks to laikrodiz for the idea: https://www.elektronauts.com/t/digitakt-modified-with-internal-battery/91600 Requirements: -Print STL FOUR TIMES. You could also do it with just two and more tape I guess? -six 18650 batteries. High capacity, low discharge (laptop type) is fine. -a way to charge 18650's the first time, as they will be under the minimum 10.8v required for the digitakt. -Small 20A 3S BMS such as this: https://www.amazon.de/-/en/dp/B0769J7D8P/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=3s+bms&qid=1587224999&sr=8-3 -4 small zip-ties -small gauge wire -Nickel-strip is optional, but much better if you can spot-weld the cells together. I use this type of welder: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o1NFbchHeM8 -Some electrical tape to insulate things. -two M4 x 20mm hex bolts. -to make it really clean a red JST connector set can be used so the battery can be disconnected easily. See pictures for assembly method.
