Who'd have thought old batteries that have been dead for 3/4 century could become valuable, sought-after collectors' items? But 'army cosplay' is getting popular lately and now everyone with an old german field phone wants a replica battery to power it. The originals are mostly a simple cardboard box, so the obvious way to make a replica is to start with some bits of heavy card, but the world seems besotted with 3D printing these days, so go that way if you want. Ideally, measure the body to copy out of card and print the top and bottom to get the fussier details.
