Please read my profile before downloading. I sincerely hope others will enjoy my designs. I am always pleased to hear about successful or useful prints. Please post a photo of successful ‘makes’ if you can. OVER-THE-TRACK SHED OO/HO This 'shed' was designed to stand on a platform above a track on my overcrowded railway. It is intended to partially hide the point at which the track goes through the backdrop. It prints in four parts - the shed, the fence, the steps and the base. The shed could be used without the base. There are two different types of steps to choose from. Files: 1. Hut_Mk1. The version shown in the photos. 2. Base. 3. OVERHEAD SHED LEFT. As Hut_Mk1. 4. OVERHEAD SHED RIGHT. Double windows and door on opposite side. 5. vertical fence. This prints standing upright. This is the version I have used for my own model. 6. horizontal fence. This is the 4 sections of fence set up to print flat. (untested) 7. steps The steps print in one piece. I found I needed to slow my printer down in order to get a decent print. Use a brim. 8. Spiral steps-4 Spiral steps in place of ordinary ones (see image). Print in one piece. Top deck level 66mm. No brim required. * I'm happy with the quality of print (except the steps as my printer was playing up). * I'm never quite sure if I've got the scale right but it looks okay. The door measures 24mm high which equates to 1.8 metres. The fence measures 13.7mm high. * I printed the shed part with a brim because of the corrugations. * I printed the vertical fence with a brim for adhesion. * Print dogleg steps with a brim and on a slower print speed. * Spiral steps do not require a brim. Print on a slow speed. * The base prints inverted. * The surface of the base is 66 mm high. I hope this will be useful to someone. I am not an expert designer. Please comment or message (politely) if there are any issues or desired modifications. I will attempt a fix or extra versions if I can. Please post any successful 'makes'. Extra bits and variants will probably be added over time if requested. (I have uploaded this item before but it never appeared in the collection of my designs). A REQUEST I have found some of my designs for sale on eBay. Please do not use my designs commercially, they have taken me a long time to produce and I share them for free, not for others to make profit. I am pleased that some of my designs are being used to help raise money for an Air Ambulance charity. I was happy to give my permission for this.
