The tip was no longer able to hold the chain and I couldn't find the part at Home Depot, Lowes, etc. (they used to carry it however). Apparently it's an old style and not stocked hardly anymore....had to find it online, but it came as a package with other parts. Printed in ABS with 50% infill @ .3 layer height Outline/perimeter shells = 2 Top/bottom solid layers = 3 It's my understanding that ABS can handle being submerged underwater as long as at least 2-3 (or more) perimeter shells are used (to help make it watertight). The infill might not be as important, although I would use at least 50% for strength. Since the part is so small, not sure if 100% infill is necessary if you're going to use the same amount of perimeter shells and top/bottom layers as I have. Also, I've noticed when printing ABS horizontally, the higher the infill, the more chance of significant warping. NOTE: a washer or two may be required between the arm and rubber tank ball in order for it to seat securely. Also, the modified tip is a bit tight, so you might have to experiment on whether to use a chain-link style connector, or bead-chain connector. I made the tip the way it is for easier printing (otherwise, supports would have been required as the original does not lay flat on the bed). *Overall this will most likely require some tweaking to have it work properly, so please keep that in mind. ***UPDATED version: 11/4/16 (toilet part FINAL.stl) pictures 4-7 Based on my experience with the first design, I found the rubber tank ball not always seating completely, causing leakage (even with washers). Also, there were issues with the existing "U" shaped plastic mount (affixed to the bottom of my tank), and the fact that it was not mounted completely straight. Therefore I increased the size of the oval holes on the two side arms for more play, and decreased the thickness of the connector arm section. Plus cut two angles in the middle (like the original) so the rubber tank ball is not impeded at all. Left the tip as a complete loop, which allowed me to wrap around my chain link style connection. Not sure how a bead-chain option would work on this revised piece. Overall it appears to work MUCH better. The revised copy was printed in Natural color ABS.
